I know this sounds silly but I got the same thing a while back, it turned out that I was trying to burn slightly over the capacity of the dvd.
Does this drive burn these DVDs when you try it with another distribution or with Windows?
If it does, the problem is with your OS or your DVD burner program.
If not, you will have to make sure you have a correct match between your media and drive.
What is the make and model of your DVD burner?
What are the formats that it is supposed to support.
What is the brand of DVD+R media?
What DVD burner program are you using?
I use K3B. If your DVD burner program isn't performing, you may want to remove and re-install it with Yumex.
