dual display problem


Hey,
i can really use some help here,
i am trying to setup a second video card but it wont show up in display settings
i goto dual setup, configure the 2nd monitor and then try to click to set my 2nd video card. nothing is there. i check scanpci and see it is showing up fine. one card is a agp and the other is pci. anyone have any ideas?
really want to get this working.

You may need ...

BusID "AGP:01:00:0"

In the AGP card's device section in xorg.conf.

I don't know if you've seen this guide, http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Dual_Monitors.

no i havent seen that guide, ok i also added the busid for the agp, restarted x and checked display in dual section of display settings, no 2nd vid card displayed.

i tried doing X -configure
didnt detect the pci voodoo2 card, really frustrating lol
im taking a break on this today, if any1 has an idea let me kno ;o)
