Dreaded "oh no! something went wrong" Message. I cant find the source of the problem

Hello,

Its been several days since I touched my fedora install and now it seems to be giving me this "Oh No! Something has gone wrong" message that is utterly useless.

If I use Ctrl+Alt+f2 I can get to a command prompt and log in. If I try to simply run "startx" it gives me the error again, only this time, I cant drop back to a shell, and instead have to reboot.

I have looked at /var/log/messages and the only things of any significance are as follows:

Being a newb at troubleshoting items like this, I have no idea which of those errors is causing the problem. I have googled all of them and it seems that the X failed at BadWindow is very common and seems to not actually cause any harm, and same thing with the dbus error at the top. The one that is a little more strange is the "software acceleration check failed: Child process exited with code 1." I Havent done much research on that one yet.

Also, here is my Xorg.conf

Code:
# RPM Fusion - nvidia-xorg.conf
#
Section "Device"
        Identifier "Videocard0"
        Driver "nvidia"
EndSection

# R.A.T 7 mouse
#
Section "InputClass"
        Identifier "R.A.T.7 Mouse Remap"
        MatchProduct "R.A.T.7 Mouse"
        MatchDevicePath "/dev/input/event*"
        Option "ButtonMapping" "1 2 3 4 5 0 0 8 9 7 6 12 0 0 0 16 17"
        Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5 6 7"
        Option "AutoReleaseButtons" "13 14 15"
EndSection

To Clarify, I have done alot of looking into this problem. I seem to be of the variaty that gets this "oh no" message before ever being able to login so anything to do with a user seems to be out of the question. Anyway, anones help would be appreciated.

Also, I have no Idea what I might have done to cause this problem (and part of why its so dificult to figure out what might have caused this).

Another Update. I have tried completely reinstalling Gnome using "yum install @gnome-desktop" and that has not helped. Im abou to try reinstalling X the same way.

This looks to be the source of your issues. Most likely a problem with how you installed the nvidia packages.
