Downloading RPM opens in Helix??

Using Firefox and Fedora Core 4.

Each time I want to download an .rpm from the internet it tries to open in Helix Player. I removed helix and now it wants to install a plugin for Realplayer in order to "open" the .rpm file.

I just want to save it.

Look in the Tools -> Options -> Downloads -> Filetypes menu, and remove the RPM extension from the list.

I'm having the same problem but the Filetypes menu is empty. Somehow, Helix opens directly the rpm files not because of the Mozilla configuration.

Any clue where else we can un-relate the .rpm extension to Helix?

I was using firefox 1.0.7. I downloaded the rpm package of 1.5 firefox then used yum to remove the old firefox, then rpm the newer 1.5. At this point not only was my problem fixed but I then had the options to manage file extensions.

Not sure if that will help you or not but it'll all I can offer.

For Mozilla, look in edit -> preferences -> Helper Applications
