does fedora support...
Have the resolved the issue with the network card: Xircom RBEM56G-100
It was calling for the xircom_cb driver, and fedora would panic on boot sometimes and when it did boot the NIC did not work.
Did they ever resolve this?

Could be. But it could also be that the developers don't know about it because nobody has filed a bug report.

Well there were several bugs filed with FC1 and redhat enterprise. but I did not find any bugs for FC2, so I assume they corrected it.
