Difference between NVIDIA source drivers & KMOD-NVIDIA
 
Hey all,

I was just curious what is the difference if any of using the nvidia source drivers (I think they are source?) and the kmod-nvidia version?

Mind you I have never been able to get the source nvidia drivers to work properly to date but I have a feeling that is something I am not doing correctly. The KMOD-NVIDIA ones for hte most part work out for me.

In order to install the nvidia source, you need to download the a few packages including some development, libraries,some extra X11 stuff and last the kernel source. I'm also curious to see if it does make a difference.
