Dell PowerEdge 2550 Fedora 7 Not enough Space

Hello,

I have a Dell Poweredge 2550, dual PIII, 2GB RAM, and 5x 36GB HDD's. I have 2 36GB in Raid 1 Mirror. It doesn't have a dvd Rom drive so I've been using the FTP network install. Everything goes smoothly through the install just past where it partitions the drive and then after i select packages for install it calculates that I don't have enough free space. I was just wondering if the basic linux install is indeed larger than 36GB. Because i Know that's not the case on other PC's I've installed it on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ryan

No on my machine it is roughly 3G. Sounds like the partitions are being created way small. Never done the network install, but can you partition manually?

Update

I installed it just fine through an external HDD. I didn't even think to try that before. But now whenever i open a terminal or sometimes just randomly the machine reboots :Pengy:
