Defualt Terminal Settings under FC6

I'm used to using putty to connect to Solaris boxes at work. One thing I've grown to love is that when you highlight something in a putty window, it is placed in the copy buffer. Then when you click the right mouse button it pastes that information. Is there anyway I can duplicate that behavior under linux?

In Linux the same thing happens when you click the middle button, or if you have a two-buttons mouse, by clicking the two buttons together.
