Customize directory set created with useradd

When I create a new user in Fedora 16, I get a list of directories for the new user including: Downloads, Music, Pictures, etc.

The set created is not relevant to my business environment. How do I change this behavior, that is, tell Fedora which directories to create for the new user?

Thanks,
Dave

Hi,

This isn't done by the useradd command. Useradd only adds what is in /etc/skel/

The first time you login (GUI!!) as the new user, Gnome creates some files and directories. Have a look at the following directory: /etc/xdg. One of the files present is user-dirs.defaults, this holds the default directories that are created.

Hope this helps.
