Create Display Login Banner in Fedora 10
Hi,
I'm running Fedora 10 and it boots using the standard login GUI that shows the various user names.
I need to create a Banner notifying users, before they log in, that the system is being monitored, etc.
On my RHEL5 machines, I just simply edit the file /usr/share/gdm/themes/RHEL/RHEL.xml.
There is no such "themes" directory under /usr/share/gdm in Fedora 10.
Also, I have no gdmsetup binary anywhere on the system (I looked online about adding a banner and some solutions were to use this app but it doesn't exist).
Also, I tried to modify the /etc/gdm/custom.conf file with
[greeter]
DefaultWelcome=false
Welcome=Message for local users
RemoteWelcome=Message for remote login users
But this screwed things up and I reset it.
Thanks for the help
