I'm following the "The Perfect Server - Fedora12 x86_64 [ISPConfig 3]" instructions and I am encountering an error when trying to build the rpm for courier-imap (from page 4 of the HOWTO).
I have download the courier-imap-4.7.0.tar.bz2 and courier-imap-4.8.0.tar.bz2 ,and I tried the method './configure + make +make check...'.But I failed after 'make check', and the error message is similar with above.
make[2]: *** [check-am] Error 1
......
make[1]: *** [check] Error 2
......
make: *** [check-recursive] Error 1
......
I use Virtualmin GPL, very similar to ISPConfig, but in my opinion much better. I used installation script that registers their repository and then installes all needed packages and makes all needed changes to the system.
Take notice that it uses Postfix + Dovecot, not Courier, but if you do not know how to solve compiling problems, then you would be better of with nice package like Virtualmin. Especially since you will use yum to update all the packages without any margin for error or problems.
