I had my motorola v300 almost working for data(ppp) under core1. It locked up after a minute or 2 of transfer, similar to a problem reported by others (but none of their fixes worked for me.) But while it was working it did connect and could ping sites at will.
In core2 I can't even get pppd to open the phone device file. I tired the same device file as with core1:
crw-rw---- 1 root uucp 166, 1 Feb 23 15:02 ttyACM1
as well as any others I could think of. Here is the command:
The backslashes got a little confused in the truncated display above, but this is the script that sort-of-works on core1 so they're not the problem. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
