clearlinks and desktop


i have fedora6
i was in my root account on my box
i wanted to type clear in a console
while i was in /root and ended up
by mistake with running clearlinks wich
deleted my .Desktop and some other files.
where can i get those back? as i need them
i can't even operate with my desktop now.
please help me,i don't want to have to install
the whole distro again for this matter.
any suggestions or solutions ar welcome
