chipset support for fedora c1

I am trying to find a list of chipsets supported by Fedora. Will it be the same as Redhat 9? Or, can someone tell me if the VIA KM400 + VT8235CE is supported? This chipset is on an ASUS board with audio, video and lan.

Thanks in advance!

Fedora Core 1 should support any system setup that Red Hat 9 supported, and maybe some more... but I guess was that Red Hat 9 did not support your setup. The same may not be true for FC2 when it is released since very old hardware may not be compatible any longer, newer hardware support is much better due to the 2.6 kernel.

Here are drivers that appear to be FC1 compatible and support your hardware.. I do not know if they work or anything more than is said on these pages.
VT8235 -- Audio, the CE chipset is not specifically mentioned -- http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=294#fedora

Fedora is not specifically supported for KM400 by their drivers. Some or most of the capabilities may be present without their driver, this I do not know.

I was actually thinking of buying a motherboard with that chipset so I do not know if it works or does not work. I think the links you posted answer my questions. Thanks for your help!

Sincerely
