How do I enable Chinese pinyin unicode input in GNOME?

Hi,

Installing SCIM is easy and works well, you can download the files here .

If you get stuck then type "chinese input" in the search bar at this LQ.org Forum, there are plenty of instructions out there!

But when I install scim, I cann't use Realplayer10 and OpenOffice1.0.2!!
Realplayer is crash!
