Changing the Bootsplash Screens

hi to all,
So I bored with the default bootsplash screen.I want to change that one ,but i haven`t find the bootsplash folder in /etc so where will i put my themes also bootslash file is not present in /etc/sysconfig
to change "THEME=" tab as it is in SUSE.
bytheway where is the default bootsplash is located ? & how can I change it ?
IF anyone have done it before on FC4 then plzz guide me abt that
I have done it on SUSE as give below.
YAST->System->/etc/sysconfig editor->system->Boot->Theme & type matrix
(of course the last one is theme name)
alternately just open the file /etc/sysconfig/bootsplash in vi &set THEME="matrix"
Then open up the superuser terminal & issue command
mkinitrd -s 1024x78 .
After reboot the theme is changed.Themes r directlly downld from gnome or
kde-look site.
Now the problems with FC4 r as below
it is not having bootsplash folder in /etc neither the file bootsplash So i tried to install the bootloader pkges that r in the Suse. After crossing deps I finally got succeded & also installed default Suse Theme. The folder & files also created by pkges. Now the last thing I have to do is To add animations or images to the current initrd image.
i.e.mkinitrd -s (size)
Now here is my problem that when I see options for mkinitrd in Fc4 then there is absence of -s tag.but it is presnt in Suse.
So If anybody knows abt it plzz tell me abt that ?
or what pkg i have to install or update?
Also from site bootsplash i downloaded the splashutils pkg.It was slack pkg .tgz.I was unable to install from that I finally converted to .rpm(actually .noarch.rpm) thru` alien.
Then installed it So i am able to create separate initramfs images for bootsplash.
But how do i append to initrd is again a question ?

Plzz guide me abt the above problem .

Fedora Core doesn't use the well-known "Bootsplash" software. Instead, they have a separate thing called rhgb (RedHat Graphical Boot); and it may not work in a similar way to Bootsplash. I don't think it would be easy to customize it.
