Changing Distros

I had Mandrake 9.2 for several months - :)

Then I had Red Hat 9 for several months :)

The other day I put Mandrake 10.1 on my box

It's so girlie!!

After 2 hours I decided to load Fedora 1

I tip my Red Fedora to all

salparadise 11-20-2004 02:43 PM

you tried Ubuntu yet?????????

reddazz 11-20-2004 04:20 PM

why not just try the new Fedora Core 3, it's much better than version 1 in my opinion.

straight to Slack

You are moving through the distros like most folks do.

And, like a lot of us, you may very well stop at Slack. Slackware made more sense to me, and is way faster than any others I tried.

If you have problems, this web site is the best for help in getting them solved.

Ubuntu

Picked up Ubuntu mid-week :D
I will probably try that this weekend, and tell you all how much fun/grief it was next week :)

"You are moving through the distros like most folks do."

And when you reach the point that you have seen it all, try freeBSD.
