change the look of Fedora

I'm not happy with the look of Fed 17. How do I vamp it up a bit? Change the window decoration. I just have boring light grey. I looked in system settings, but find nothing to choose from.

Can I install compiz?? I love those floppy windows!

Hi friend, you must find "windows manager" for change the look of the fed.
You can this in system settings or administrator settings.

Fedora uses Gnome 3 by default, so the first place to look for some themes is http://gnome-look.org/

what about compiz? Will it work with Fedora? It doesn't appear to be in any of the software available in Fedora repos.

Compiz is since Fedora 17 not part of the Fedora repositories anymore. It is possible to install it, but it is not a trivial task. If you are interested nonetheless have a look here: http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=279981

or use KDE 4
"KDE4 or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the KDE"

or wait for fedora 18 and "MATE" will be used instead of Gnome3

Yeah, it's possible to install either and choose one at login. I'll try KDE.

What is MATE??

MATE is a fork of the abandoned Gnome 2.
