cant boot fc2

I am currently running FC1 cum win xp. Previously I had no problem installing FC1.

I downloaded Fc2 recently, checked the md5sum also. Everything seems fine. but when I tried to boot fc2 installation disc 1, after i pressed "enter" to get into the graphical installation mode, the pc just reboot again. sigh. Anyone knows how to solve this?
thanks...

boot up the cd agian write linux or linuxaskmethod and press enter if it still restarts then check if any of the cds are damaged or something also whats the boot order u did on ur bios (Cdrom,C,A: or Cdrom,A,C: ?) check that as whell.if all else fail installing from the hard drive is ur best option.

Did wat you said, still same problem. Wonder if I uninstalled FC1 and install FC2 would be the only solution to install FC2?

Or have it check your CDs to make sure that they are all passed before you go any further! If they are, then you shouldn't have any problem upgrading from FC1 to FC2...
