Cannot see files on GNOME desktop? while I can see it using 'ls' command

In FD4 GNOME, I downloaded a tag.gz file and extracted it on desktop, while I could see the extracted file from terminal using ls command, but I couldn't see the file icons from my desktop, nor from filesystem browser. But when I reboot system, those files are on desktop, anyone knows why?

Hey,

Its something to do with Nautilus and the session saver i think. If you go to applications/configuration editor, then apps/nautilus. Then delete the profile "default" or whatever profiles you have. Logout, login, and this should sort it out.
