can't print using kernel-2.6.23.9-85.fc8

When using the kernel: kernel-2.6.23.9-85.fc8? I can't print. when I send print job to the HP PS D5100 series printer, the printer gives no response. but the printer works fine on kernel-2.6.23.8-63.fc8. I think maybe the problem is due to the new kernel-2.6.23.9-85.fc8. Does Anybody else have similar problem with me?

When changing a kernel breaks a device, it is a sign that the device driver needs to be compiled against the new kernel.

From the looks of things, you installed the distro kernel. So it should be a simple matter to update the cups system as well.
