can't ftp over the lan
 

Hello,
I am trying ftp to a system running
Mandrake10.2 from my FC4 system.

It says connection refused. Why ?

I have no firewall on either system.

Howto get connected ?

Is the FTP service active on the Mandrake system ?

Note that Mandrake may well already have an active SSH service. In which case you can transfer files as you can with FTP, without needing to install a separate FTP service.
