As far as I know you cant write a cd audio format file to a DVD. I have seen people do workarounds by creating a DVD slideshow and then adding all of the tracks from a cd one song to each slide. This will still require a device that can read dvd-audio format. You can burn your audio files as .mp3 and create a data disc on your DVD. Almost all cd players can handle .mp3 data cds nowadays.

Running dvda-author command below I'm getting the error msg below
What am I doing wrong?

dvda-author -o DVD -g *.mp3 -X Jukebox.mp3/

[PAR] Working directory is: Jukebox.mp3/
[PAR] Output directory is: DVD
[ERR] input file Jukebox.mp3/ does not comply with chdir specifications

I have the Jukebox.mp3/ directory in ~/ and the files in directory are mp3 music files

Not quite sure what "does not comply with" means,
but if I remember right, the files better be *.wav.
( It's more than 5 years since I made that "sample DVD".
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...-cds-826505/#3 )

Suggest : Make a test with a few wav files.
