build errors on fedora 16 when link with -lGL

I'm trying to build the android platform, but I'm getting link errors when linking with the -lGL.

Code:
host SharedLib: lib64EGL_translator (out/host/linux-x86/obj/lib/lib64EGL_translator.so)
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-redhat-linux/4.6.3/../../../libGL.so when searching for -lGL
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libGL.so when searching for -lGL
I'm not sure what I'm missing I believe I got the right libGL.so installed:
Code:
stralko@raoulduke libs ((41da370...)) $ ls -l /usr/lib/libGL*
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root     10 Apr 24 15:18 /usr/lib/libGL.so -> libGL.so.1
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root     12 Mar  8 22:39 /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 -> libGL.so.1.2
-rwxr-xr-x. 1 root root 552556 Feb 13 13:47 /usr/lib/libGL.so.1.2
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root     20 Apr 15 17:29 /usr/lib/libGLU.so.1 -> libGLU.so.1.3.071100
-rwxr-xr-x. 1 root root 476860 Feb 13 13:47 /usr/lib/libGLU.so.1.3.071100
I believe I have the right dependencies installed:

Code:
$> sudo yum install mesa-libGL-devel-7.11.2-3.fc16.i686
Loaded plugins: langpacks, presto, refresh-packagekit
Package mesa-libGL-devel-7.11.2-3.fc16.i686 already installed and latest version
Nothing to do

$> sudo yum install mesa-libGL-7.11-8.fc16.i686
Loaded plugins: langpacks, presto, refresh-packagekit
Package matching mesa-libGL-7.11-8.fc16.i686 already installed. Checking for update.
Nothing to do
Thanks,

Maybe android is a 32bit platform and you tried to use a 64bit lib.

There are two main pieces to android platform. There is the build for the phone/device. (That is a 32-bit build) And the SDK tools that live on the Host machine (i.e. adb, emulator, android toolchain). You can build on a 64-bit machine you just use need to link with the 32 bit libraries for certain things.

Code:
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libGL.so
The problem is I'm using the wrong libGL.so (32-bit) version to link with. After some research, I found using a different version of gcc, seem to fix my problem.

Thanks,
