Boot to Shell in Mythdora 10.21? (Fedora 10)
I want to try and configure my Xorg options for tv output in my mythdora system, but that's easier to do/test from a shell, rather than the default graphical boot. I can't seem to get to a shell, though. I tried removing "rhgb" (which i'm assuming sounds for red hat graphical boot?) from the grub boot options, but it only caused me to see the init scripts run instead of the normal progress bar - it still auto-logged into gnome. I also tried issuing "telinit 2" from a terminal in gnome, in which instance my monitor turned off and the computer (i'm assuming) locked up.
I don't know what information might be needed to help me with this, so just let me know and I'll provide... I haven't really changed the options on the Mythdora install at all, but I don't know what the differences between myth and regular fedora might be.
