Beryl problems on fedora 6

Hi, I have a fedora core 6, I installed beryl from fedora repositories, the problem is, the beryl-manager starts, but the window border disappears. Even if i choose compiz window manager it doesn't change.

PS: I don't have any nVidia card

For beryl to work properly, you need a graphics card or atleast a decent onboard graphics. What do you have?

It works!! this maybe pretty obvious but I didn't know

All these time I just started beryl-manager from the applications menu and the window borders would disappear.
Now, I start 'beryl' from a terminal and then start beryl-manager and everything works fine.

BTW the lspci o/p showed this:

My onboard graphics is pretty old and is not supported, but it works ok for me, except if I open too many windows then the above problem occurs again.
