belkin 54g and FC 4

i have a belkin F5D7050 wireless usb adapter (rt2500) and i can't get it to work with FC 4, no matter how i try. i have got this working on suse 9.2 with no trouble but FC4 doesn't work with it.

The kernel has been recompiled to have a 8k stack and i have tried ndiswrapper which i use in suse and also the rt2500 drivers

when i try ndiswrapper the wlan0 is available in iwconfig and can be setup in the network tool in gnome. if i goto activate the connection it cannot start.

If i use ndiswrapper -l it says:
rt2500 driver present

There is no Hardware Present when i do this which is seen in suse.

if i try the rt2500 drivers it doesnt even get that far as wlan0 is not found in iwconfig.

any ideas? :S
