automatic modules loading


hi,

how can i force my fedora core 6, but kernel 2.6.16.13, to automatic load modules into kernel?

well you have an entry in /etc/modprobe.conf in general, but you've given no specifics of the situation you have. one example would be loading a nic driver with a line like "alias eth0 8139too"

OK i have ath_pci module which loads WLAN atheros based chipset WLAN card, everytime I run Linux I have to load it modprobe ath_pci and would like linux would do this automatic, thanks

well i assume it's just like in my example. just presumably change the eth0 to whatever interface name is normally created.
