audio notify thingy, which process is it?


when I press sound +/- button of my keyboard this gui thingy appears on the middle of my screen. Its transparent black, there is a speaker icon on the middle of it

this thingy;

ps: I don't want to kill or close it, I just want to know what is it. Which process which software and how can I hack it

Hm... You could try
Code:
ps aux | grep notify
ps aux | grep audio
and related searches, kill likely suspects, and then press the volume keys. It's a fair guess that if you kill a process and the volume thingy stops working then that's the process. To check, you could reboot and kill just that process, and see if the same happens...
