apt-get "command not found"

Am running Fedora 9 in virtual box on Dell laptop Win vista.
Desperately need "apt-get" but when I try to execute the command all I get is "command not found". Have looked in /exe/sources.list/.d, where apt-get apparently should be but the only item there is Livna.list.

To check if you have apt-get installed use this command:

find / -iname "*apt-get*"

Do you particularly need apt-get? Yum is the standard package manager for Fedora.

That said, if it isn't installed, I think you'll find it here https://rpmrepo.org/RPMforge

Debian/Ubuntu migrant?

In Fedora, use "yum": eg. yum install gedit-plugins

Do yum --help for... help.
