Apache & Fedora

Hey all,

I am wanting to setup my first web server with Apache on my Fedora 7 installation.

Can anyone point to a good tutorial to this end? I'd appreciate it.

There's not really much to it. Just install via yum as in "yum install httpd" then start it via "/etc/init.d/httpd start". Then put all of your web stuff in /var/www/html. But here is an ok tutorial -> http://www.yolinux.com/TUTORIALS/Lin...iteConfig.html

No problem. Glad I could help. Just don't give up on Linux. There's always a solution

No way I'm giving up... I'm getting my Linux Administration certificate from school this fall, taking the Red Hat Academy right now (and hoping to get RHCT) and I took my WindersXP machine of over a year, fragged it and installed Fedora.

I think I've been bit by the Penguin bug. :D
