Any FC5 Netgear Problems?

Has anyone found out any problems with his Netgear Wireless PCI card on FC5 yet?

I just want to check this before I erase my Ubuntu 6.10 OS.

I tried FC6 but nothing worked for me:confused: . I have a Netgear WG311v3.

Thanks in advance.

Whats wrong with Ubuntu?

If it didn't work with FC5, my guess is, it will probably be problematic with FC6, but I have zero experience with wireless, I wired my network to keep things simple...

Good luck

No Netgear WG311v3 support. I installed Madwifi and ndiswrapper but nothing happened.

If I type the iwconfig command I get no ath0 etc. But Ubuntu recognises the wireless card.

I am actually suggesting the opposite. It doesn't work on FC6 but it might work on FC5.
Right now I am trying many Linux OSs.I just want someone's experiece on this matter to avoid too much trouble.

Ah yeah, sorry, I had that backwards, but meant the same thing.

Did you try Ubuntu Forums, someone there might be able to help...
