All Those Modules
Hello,
I notice that a slew of unneeded modules are getting modprobed at startup. Is there any other way other than manually modifying the modprobe.d/ files to stop the loading of such modules? I don't ever need 'battery' loaded and can eventually recompile the module out of the next kernel compile. But I may just want to stop the automatic loading of snd and all it's millions of dependant modules and load it up as needed.
