Add/Remove Software App no longer display icon in notification area
Using a fresh install of Fedora 11, X86_64, and all packages are up to day.
Since the last update (where pretty much everything has been updated), I've noticed that when running the Add/Remove Software program (gpk-application), the icon no longer appears in the notification area in GNOME. What's annoying, is that this icon is the only way to check the status of downloads and installs.
The "Notification Area" app is definitely loaded, as the volume icon, and Network Manager icon are both there. The icon comes up in the KDE notification are, but not GNOME. I dont use KDE, so is there anyway to fix this is GNOME? I've tried removing and adding that app again, but that does nothing to fix it.
It used to work, but no longer does. Also, I tried creating a new account and running the program from that, to see if it something with my accounts configuration, but it didn't work there.
