Add/Remove Applications menu gone

Hi all:

I've recently intalled fc2 on my computer. The first I tried, is to install some RPM's i had downloaded...
I saw some snapshots of the fc package manager, and they all had a menu (who will let you perfom searches, view dependencies, and packages' files, i guess), but I'm unable to get this menu shown on my add/remove applications program

Can anyone give me a hand? Thanks you in advantage.

I remember back in RH8 there being some basic RPM front end stuff. However, as Red Hat progressed into Fedora, I think it got lost. In all honesty Fedora/Red Hat GUI front ends for rpm have not been too successful.

I would resort to the terminal and install stuff with rpm -Uv (the U is for update - it will install new stuff as well, don't worry. and the v is fo verbose)

If the dependancies are bad it will tell you.

If you interested in automating this more, you can look into yum, but I haven't had much luck or like for it.
