how do i make programs start when kde starts


how do i make Acme 2.4.2 (The Multimedia keys daemon)start when i log in to kde because it is a pain starting it every time i log on

All you should need to do is add a symlink to the executable in the .kde/Autostart directory in your home directory.

For example, if I wanted xmms to run on startup on my kde, I would run the following command:

ln -s /path/to/xmms ~/.kde/Autostart/xmms
