64-bit Apps?

Does anyone know if FC4 will have any 64-bit apps beyond the kernel version? How is the AMD in terms of backwards compatibility with the 32-bit apps?

Thanks

64 Bit

I've had to compile many applications because there are fewer RPMs explicitly for AMD64, and sometimes for some reason the lib64 libraries won't work with the 32bit binaries. I've ran into other weird things, related to this issue - nothing catastrophic, though.

Perhaps in time more support for 64bit will come? Though I'm happy with my 64bit machine, it really chews-up the data.
