.3GP files / SAMR codec..

Hey, i use XINE which is compatible with _everything_, but for the fact that it lacks the amr codec, and hence i cant hear audio in .3GP files :(( How do i play them under xine, or is any other player capable of playing them ?

In xine, i get message "Audio Codec : Unavailable (samr). Continue playback" ? If i say yes, i get video bu no sound.. :(

Please help, thank you.
Rohan.

I have just had the same problem: data was from my Nokia 6230 phone: has anyone had any luck decoding such data?

Thanks in advance...

Wayne

Simple Answer : Just download realplayer 10 from www.helixcommunity.org - make sure u get realplayer not helix player.

sorry so rude good afternoon every body

Sorry, but downloading RealPlayer does not make it work.
I have tried to play .3gp and .mp4 video captures, recorded with a SonyEricsson W800i and P900, respectively, and I only get the video output without sound.
I have tried xine, mplayer and RealPlayer, with every thinkable decoder option, but without success.
I am using Gentoo, so the installations have been made by Portage, after some editing of the USE flags.

Where should I go now? On Windows XP, these media files play correctly using Quicktime.

Regards,
Fredrik
