I am new to feather linux and I am interested in knowing how you install this on to USB.I tried downloading the USB.zip but I was not able to do it.Now I am trying with the ISO image which is there in the FTP server.
will this ISO fit in the USB? or how do I go about installation?
The ...usb.zip is supposed to be unzipped to the USB drive and then run syslinux /dev/sdx
where x is the drive your usb drive usually takes. N.B. The /dev/sd... is because all usb-drives are emulated to be SCSI.
The SYSLINUX needs to be downloaded elsewhere and you must ryn it from a running system, either Linux or... dare I say it.....: Windows.
