Hey...I know there is a screenshot post, but this distro is so new, I couldn't find any. Anyone have this distro up and running pretty well? Just curious what it looks like...

Um, well, since it is running Slax, it looks like, well, Slackware. The backgrounds in fluxbox and KDE have a nice picture of mountains but other than that, it is pretty plain. Besides, we're talking bioinformatics software here and those apps tend to be console based. Those that are graphical tend to be butt-ugly at best. There are some exceptions, but lets just say that most bioinformaticians are more than a little lacking in the artistry arena.

As for getting it running, since it is based on Slax, as long as your computer can boot from CD, you're good to go. No installation needed.

Oooh...I had the wrong impression. I am actually running slack 10. Just thought it was another distro based off of it. Alrighty then...thanks

I've just added a screenshot on the download section.
If anybody tells me the name of a Mambo Module to add a picture galery, I'll upload more screenshots. Anyway, there is no much to see, most apps are text only.
