xfs partition can't write files into it

Hi, I have one partition with XFS, after load the X I went to nautilus and I tried to copy any file into that partition, but I only can read not write or execute. my questions are:

1. what parameters should change in fstab to change this? the current parameters are "defaults 0 0"
2. is a must to use acl with xfs?

thanks

You're overcomplicating and under-diagnosing.

Open a terminal, type "mount" and show us the mount options for the filesystem. Also run "ls -ld" on the mount point and show us the permissions on it. Also, just plain try and "touch" a file in there as root and as the user you are running X with.. what happens for each?

As simple as you said, the problem was solved just given the apropiated permissions and changing the owner; in fact, I thought that work with xfs would be a little bit different, actually it's my first time working with it. after did some chown the problem as solved, now i can rwx in the partition.

all the best
