Wireless Problem After Lenny to Squeeze Upgrade

Hello:

After upgrading from Lenny to Squeeze, the NM cannot connect to any wireless network. It tries but keep asking for the key which is already there and correct.

It is an LG notebook with RALink network card. I have reinstalled firmware-ralink and also the NM and NM-gnome. The interfaces file is
Code:

$ more /etc/network/interfaces
# This file describes the network interfaces available on your system
# and how to activate them. For more information, see interfaces(5).

# The loopback network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

# The primary network interface
allow-hotplug eth0
#iface eth0 inet dhcp

I have been trying looking around but no joy so far. NM was working well with Lenny.

Can someone please help me out.

Thank you.

Try wicd.
