win2000 server with VMware workstation and Debian woody as guest OS
 

Hello

May I have some feedback on the suggestion below with any problems
which may occur.


I want to run a win2k server and VMWare workstation with a debian woody guest OS in it.

Both OSes willhave separate IP adresses on the lan, downloads and uploads mail to the linux box via POP/SMTP.

News (dnews), ftp and apache mod-ssl run in windows, postfix and
dns run in debian.

That should work, althought I don't see why you wish to use Windows ... ?

Why not run everything (e.g. Apache, ftp, ... ) in Debian.
