which backports kernel?

hi

I must setup a new squeeze workstation with Gnome Desktop for 64-bit machines.
The problem is, that the default linux kernel 2.6.32-5 doesn't support the monitor DELL 1909Wf 16:9. It is recognized as "Unknown Monitor", but with a newer kernel 2.6.38 or 2,6.38 from the backports, it works well.
Should I install 2.6.38-bpo.2-amd64 or 2.6.39-bpo.2-amd64?
Which one is more stable?

Install both and test them for yourself with your hardware. The fact they are in backports says they are stable enough to use so it is just personal preference.
