where is ssl configuration info debian

I've set up SSL on other OSs, but debian ssl and apache setup seems to be a mess in my opinion. Where am I supposed to put the config info for SSL, such as "SSLCertificateChainFile, SSLCertificateFile..etc.."?

I think /usr/share/doc/apache2/README.Debian.gz in the "Enabling SSL" section gives this information.

/usr/share/doc/packagename/README.Debian[.gz] is always the first place you should look for documentation in Debian.
