hello everyone,
i'm not a debian distro user and as such i probably lack basic information about the distro. i need however to get a hold of a source of apt-get in order to compile it in scratchbox an arm toolkit/emulator, which in turn is installed in slackware and as a result never included apt-get in its installation.

but now i need it to install qt library as packaged in debian, cause i can't seem to be able to compile qt sources in scratchbox, so as to get its shared libraries in arm-arch....

so going back to initial request... where can i get apt-get source from?

That is in fact the source. Please scroll down towards the bottom of the page where it says "Download apt". You will see a box with links to two files, the second file being the *.tar.gz source for apt.

Be sure you slow down enough to realize what is in front of you. I too have the tendancy to move too fast.
