When Etch becomes stable
 

With so many users saying that there are problems with the upgrade from Sarge to Etch, particularly with the changeover from XFree86 to X.org, what do you reckon will happen when Etch becomes stable (in December I'm told)? Will this forum be submerged in questions from owners of broken systems or will the Deb developers have the issues sorted by then? I'm an interested party in this because I installed Debian Sarge only recently and don't relish a complete re-install.

I'm sure the majority of issues will have been worked out. One of the goals of making Etch stable will be to try to ensure a trouble free upgrade.
