what happened to 'xedit' in Lenny

I have been using 'xedit' since etch. But it seems that after upgrading to Lenny, xedit has disappeared.

Anybody has any idea what happened to it?

It was part of the package xbase-clients, so I assume that xedit was dropped upstream somewhere.

Sure enough. http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=321434 There appears to be a serious bug so they've dropped it from the x11-apps package until it gets fixed.

Thanks man. Now it makes sense as to what happened to it. In any case I have decided to move on with nedit package.
