virtual console color

Hey everyone,
I've edited /etc/init.d/console-screen.sh to set foreground and background colors for my console, and also have used the -store option to keep them for good. BUT it seems this is enabled only for my first virtual console, and the other ones remain the default white on black. Um, is there any way to setup ALL my consoles with my custom colors at startup?

setterm -foreground blue
setterm -background black

Change the values of the colors to fit your preferences. The problem is that some apps will change it back to default.

Right, that's what I've been doing.
To prevent some apps from changing the color back to default just pass setterm the -store argument along with the other args.
BUT I'd like to find a place (perhaps in some init file?) where I can set setterm to run for ALL virutal consoles.
