vim colors

I have this horrendous HTML file I need to edit. It would really help if vim would color code the tags in it. This is default behavior on Red Hat dists, but not on Debian. How do I get syntax coloring to work in vim?

Ah, nevermind.

You set it in /etc/vim/vimrc.

" Vim5 and later versions support syntax highlighting. Uncommenting the next
" line enables syntax highlighting by default.
